Tuesday Moderate Ride – November 19th – 10:00 AM – Panera
Tomorrow’s weather looks a bit iffy. As I write, it looks like the rain should end by about 7 AM. The temperature will be in the upper 50s with winds out of the SW at 10 to 20 mph. It will be cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. I will not start in the rain, and that includes those light mists that don’t even show up on the weather radar. I will post a go-or-no-go announcement before 8:30 AM on the morning of the ride. I am pushing our starting time back to 10:00 AM to allow the streets a bit of time to dry out.
If we can ride, I am planning a shorter route – a big circle through Norwood Park and Niles with lunch at Omega Restaurant. Here is a link to the route I will use: NorwoodPk&Omega · Ride with GPS. Our total distance will be a tad more than 28 miles. I will ride at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace. With enough interest there will be a second group traveling at a slightly faster pace led by Will.
