The season is upon us and that means holiday lights but it also means winter weather. Skokie Bike Network is a co-sponsor of this ride. We posted this to our membership today. Assuming we ride lights are required. I will post to this thread if the weather is keeps us from riding either Thursday night or Friday morning. Right now it is looking to be very cold and snowy. We will see.
Sauganash Lights Ride – Saturday December 13th - 4:00pm – Sketchbook Brewery – Contingent on the weather. It’s our annual regular ride in collaboration with the Evanston Bike Club on a tour of the holiday lights displays in Sauganash. The plan is to gather at Sketchbook and take a relaxed ride down the Skokie Valley Trail to Sauganash and tour around the neighborhood. However, if the weather is too cold or there is ice and snow on the route, we will huddle at Sketchbook for some camaraderie and perhaps a beer or two. We will make the call Thursday evening or Friday morning.
