Tuesday Moderate Ride – March 24th – 9:30 AM – Panera
Easter is April 5th this year. It’s not a holiday I celebrate, but its proximity means we have only two more weeks to ride to Culver’s for the Lenten special Northwoods Walleye Sandwich.
Let’s start at 9:30 AM. That suits my schedule better this week and will also give the weather a chance to warm up a bit. I’m planning a ride to the Culver’s in Buffalo Grove. Here is a link to the route I’ll be using: Culver's in Buffalo Grove · Ride with GPS. Our total distance will be around 42 miles. I’ll ride at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace.
The temperature range during the course of the ride should be between 35 and 48 degrees. The wind is expected to be out of the south or southwest at a moderate 8 to 9 mph. There will be a mix of sun and clouds early, becoming cloudier as the day moves on.
If you are not a fan of the Walleye Sandwich, the entire regular Culver’s menu and a few other Lenten specials will be available. Please note that the menu does include a Veggie Burger, but sometimes it cannot be found on the menu board.
If the weather should be vastly different from what’s expected, making it prudent to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv before 7:45 on the morning of the ride.
