As has been the case for several years, EBC will have a presence on September 6 at the 2026 Bike the Drive. Because of our support of Active Transportation Alliance, we have free use of a space in the Expo area at the Post-Ride Festival.
Out task consists of 3 things, talk up the ride, talk up the club and pass out "rack cards" reminding people of the date and details. I find it exhilarating and lots of fun.
The Festival webpage lists the hours as 8:00 to 12:30, but things happen earlier than that. Riders are returning by 7:30 and things taper off by 11:30. There are so many people between 8:00 and 11:00 that we need 3 people working the booth. If you drive down the club will pay for your parking. I hope you are able to assist for all or some of the morning.
I will set up the booth on Saturday and attend the entire event on Sunday, arriving about 7:00.
