The Evanston Bicycle Club has more than 500 members who live in Evanston, Wilmette and other suburbs, as well as Chicago. EBC offers rides in a broad range of paces and distances during riding season. We invite you to check out the Rides & Events tab above and join us for a ride. Unless otherwise stated, non-members may join most group rides.

EBC Meetings and Programs

The Evanston Bicycle Club meets the third Tuesday of most months at 7 p.m. at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd. Remaining 2026 meetings will be on Tuesdays -- October 20, November 17 and December 15. Details will be available prior to the meetings.

                                 October 20 – Board Elections and Update on City of Evanston Bike Network Plan

The October meeting will be held in person in Bobby’s Room at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Avenue, Evanston. Refreshments will be available beginning at 7 p.m. The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. with club business, followed by the program.

In addition to the October board elections and a recap of the North Shore Century, the program will feature Sarah FioRito, Transportation and Mobility Coordinator for the City of Evanston. She will present the latest draft of the 2026 Bike Plan Update, which the City has been developing for nearly a year. The proposed plan includes new bike lanes and designated bike routes throughout Evanston.
